Emily Howard named to dean's list
Emily Howard, a resident of Poquoson, has been named to the dean's list at University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the fall 2012 semester.
According to a university release, students must have at least a 3.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours to be named to the dean's list.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is the state's land-grant university. UNL's alumni includes 22 Rhodes Scholars and three Nobel laureates. The Cornhuskers have 21 varsity teams in 15 sports and compete in the Big Ten Conference.
