York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office searching for women suspected of using counterfeit money
The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office searching for two women suspected of using counterfeit money to purchase prepaid Visa cards.
The incident was reported in the Food Lion on the 2900 block of Hampton Highway at 5:10 p.m. Jan. 24.
According to a news release from the police, "The two females entered the Food Lion on Hampton Highway in York County and used $1,514.85 in counterfeit currency to purchase several prepaid Visa cards. They were also seen in the company of a male aged 18-25."
The suspects' names are Angelique Shantell Austin and Laquisha Vaday Rhoades.
