Friends of the Poquoson Library announce 2013 essay contest

The Friends of the Poquoson Library announced the rules and regulations for its 2013 essay contest.

According to a press release, essays and permission slips may be turned in at the circulation desk of the Poquoson Public Library. Poquoson students may also turn in entries to their English teacher, school librarian or school office. The awards ceremony is on Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Poquoson City Council Chambers.

The competition is open to all students in grades K-12 from Poquoson and surrounding communities who use the Poquoson Public Library.
