Three Poquoson runners complete Marine Corps Marathon
Three athletes from Poquoson completed the Marine Corps Marathon Oct. 28 in Arlington.
The runners from Poquoson and their finishing times were David Fisher, 38, 4:20:57; Galen Andrews, 31, 4:54:22; and Brenda Page, 54, 5:05:51.
Race organizers said 23,520 runners finished the 26.2-mile race.
Augustus Maiyo, of Colorado Springs, Colo., won the race with a time of 2:20:20. Hirut Guanqul, of Ellicott City, Md., won the women's division in 2:42:03.
