Circuit court hearings for Poquoson, Oct. 17-23
The following Poquoson area case was heard in circuit court during the period of Oct. 17 to Oct. 23:
York County - Poquoson Circuit court reported a sentencing hearing involving Richard Kelly Freeman at 9 a.m. on Oct. 18 in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Case CR10006383-02 was filed on Aug. 6, 2010, with an indictment against Freeman. The defendant was arrested on Oct. 13, 2009, on charges of possession of drugs with intent to sell. The final disposition was guilty by guilty plea. Charges against the defendant were amended. The defendant has been sentenced to 12 months in jail. He will be subject to five years indefinite supervision, probation to begin upon sentencing.
