Gas prices in and around Poquoson were lower than the average for the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for two gas stations in and around Poquoson. As of Nov. 1, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Poquoson is $3.45 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the state average at $3.38 and the nationwide average at $3.54.

The least expensive gas price in Poquoson is reported to be $3.45 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Metro Market, 426 Wythe Creek Road and 7-Eleven, 436 Wythe Creek Road.
