The following Poquoson area cases were heard in circuit court during the period of Oct. 3-9:
Emma Lee McGee is a defendant in a general district court appeal. A trial at 9 a.m. Oct. 5 was reported in York County - Poquoson Circuit Court. Newport News Circuit court reported a trial involving Summer Day LLC at 10 a.m. Oct. 3 in the Newport News. Case No. CR11C01512-00 was filed Sept. 2, 2011. The case is in connection with a Feb. 7, 2011, charge of "vacant structure not maintained." The result of the Oct. 3 hearing is listed as continued. There is a trial scheduled for 10 a.m. Nov. 5.
