Poquoson Public Library recognizes teen volunteers

The Poquoson Public Library recognized its summer teen volunteers with a party Aug. 28.

A total of 71 teens volunteered at the library during the summer, contributing more than 2,000 hours. At the party, 34 of the volunteers received a certificate of appreciation for volunteering 24 hours or more.

The Poquoson Public Library is at 500 City Hall Ave., Poquoson.
