Hampton Roads Horticultural Society to meet Sept. 13

The Hampton Roads Horticultural Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Women's Club of Newport News.

Karen Duhring, a coastal management scientist at Virginia Institute of Marine Science, will discuss Bay-friendly gardening and landscape practices.

The public is welcome to attend.

The Women's Club of Newport News is at 461 J. Clyde Morris Blvd.
