Poquoson City Council to have golf cart public hearing Aug. 27

Members of the public who would like to know more about golf cart usage in Poquoson are invited to voice their concerns during the next Poquoson City Council meeting.

The city council will have a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27 regarding an ordinance amending the city code related to the operation of golf carts. The proposed amendment will designate specific streets for golf cart usage.

More information about the proposed amendment may be received from the city manager's office at City Hall, or by calling 757-868-3000.

The meeting is open to all members of the public. Those who require an accommodation to participate should call the city manager's office at least three days in advance of the meeting.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers at 500 City Hall Ave.
