Poquoson Elementary releases fifth grade back-to-school supplies list
Students entering the fifth grade at Poquoson Elementary will need the following school supplies for the upcoming school year:
Pair of pointed scissors; four glue sticks; bottle of wet glue; four packs of wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper; one 2-inch three-ringed binder (no Trapper Keepers); one box of 24-count crayons; one box of 12 colored pencils; one large box of tissues; 24 number two pencils; two yellow highlights; two packs of 3-by-5 inch index cards; two packs of dividers for binders; four low odor dry erase markers; three folders with prongs and pockets; one box of eight to 10 count markers; one composition notebook; two one subject, 70-sheet count spiral notebooks; one pack of red pens; one box of gallon sized zip-close baggies per boy student; one bottle of liquid soap per boy student; one box of sandwich size zip-close baggies per girl student; one bottle of hand sanitizer per girl student.
The first day of classes in the district is Tuesday, Sept. 4.
