Poquoson Elementary School releases third-grade supplies list
Poquoson Elementary School announced the supply list for students entering third grade this upcoming school year.
Third-grade students will need 48 Ticonderoga pencils; 12 black, low-odor, fine-tipped, dry-erase markers; 12 glue sticks; four perforated, spiral-bound notebooks (one red, one blue, one green and one yellow); four assorted color highlighters; three folders (one red, one blue and one green) with pockets; two boxes of tissues; two packs of wide-ruled notebook paper; one 24-pack of crayons; one 1.5-inch or 2-inch binder; one black and white composition book; one hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings catcher; one pair of sharp, pointed scissors; one pack of colored pencils; one pack of lined index cards; one pack of markers; one pink pearl eraser; one pack of sticky notes; and one pencil box.
Boys are to bring in a box of gallon-sized, zip-close baggies and a box of hand sanitizer wipes. Girls are to bring in one box of sandwich bags and a bottle of hand sanitizer.
Poquoson Elementary School is located at 1033 Poquoson Ave., in Poquoson, and school begins Tuesday, Sept. 4.
