Poquoson Primary School releases kindergarten supplies list

A list of supplies that students attending Poquoson Primary School will need for the upcoming school year has been released.

Kindergarten students will need two 24-count boxes of crayons; one 100-page, wide-ruled composition notebook; one 12-pack 0.21 oz. purple, washable Elmer's glue sticks; one 8-pack of watercolors; one 8-count thick, classic, washable markers; one 4-pack of dry-erase markers; one 8 oz. pump hand sanitizer; one 7 oz. bottle Elmer's glue; one antibacterial, soft, hand, pump soap; one box of tissues; one adult-size plain white T-shirt with no logos; one child-size plain white T-shirt; one regular-sized plastic school pencil box; one pair Fiskars 5-inch, blunt-tipped safety scissors; one easy-to-open and close backpack without wheels.

Boys are to bring in one box of disinfectant wipes (for teacher use only) and girls are to bring in a box of baby wipes.

Please bring all supplies to the open house from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29.

Poquoson Primary School is located at 19 Odd Road, in Poquoson, and school begins Tuesday, Sept. 4.
