Library offers sleepovers, stargazing events
The Poquoson Public Library will offer an "almost" sleepover for children and a stargazing night for teens in August.
The It's an Almost Sleepover program allows children in first through fifth grades to wear their pajamas while participating in activities, crafts, games and drinking and eating milk and cookies from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3.
At the stargazing party, scheduled from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, participants at the library will sweep the night sky using iPads to map out constellations. Teens are invited to this event.
The library is located at 500 City Hall Ave., Poquoson.
To register for these events, call 757-868-3060 or visit ppll.ent.sirsi.net/client.
