Poquoson Library to host world-renowned juggler
The Poquoson Public Library is hosting a performance by juggler Jonathan Austin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Austin has presented his act across the country, including performances at the White House and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., as well as Central Park and the Village Gate Nightclub in New York City. He was named the best party entertainer from Family Style Magazine from 2000-11, and has been named Virginia state juggling champion multiple times.
The performance is part of the library's celebration picnic commemorating the end of the summer reading program for infants through fifth-graders. Austin's juggling shows often include magic, comedy and unicycle riding.
The Poquoson Public Library is located at 500 City Hall Ave. Its regular hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
