Poquoson's Voglewede named to dean's list

Christopher Newport University announced that Kristen Voglewede, of Poquoson, was named to the dean's list for the spring 2012 semester.

To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA.

Voglewede will graduate from CNU in December with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She plans to pursue a master's degree in biology and anticipates entering veterinary school.

Voglewede is a graduate of Peninsula Catholic High School and is the daughter of Rosemary Voglewede and the late Philip Voglewede.

Christopher Newport University is located at 1 University Place, in Newport News.
