Poquoson Police Department to participate in Drug Take Back Day on April 28
Poquoson residents who want to dispose of unwanted prescription drugs can bring them to the Drug Take Back day on Saturday, April 28.
Participants can bring prescription drugs to the Poquoson Pharmacy parking lot between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The pharmacy parking lot is at 498 Wythe Creek Road in Poquoson.
The program is designed to keep prescription drugs out of Virginia's lakes and streams and prevent prescription drug abuse. Police will collect drugs anonymously and without charge, no questions asked.
