Poquoson boys tennis defeats Warhill
Poquoson's boys tennis team knocked off Warhill 8-1 in a boys tennis match Wednesday, April 11.
Tyler Cruz rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Jules Clayton at No. 1 singles and Austin Gillem beat Vishal Patel 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
Reed Clifford topped Andrew Clayton 6-2, 6-1 at third singles and Tyler Moore took down Koby Arndt 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Royce Bowner beat Jonathan Smith 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 singles.
Cruz and Bowden won 8-0 at No. 1 doubles over Jules Clayton and Andrew Clayton.
Brandon Royal and Tyler Moore defeated Vishal Patel and Marc VonAppen 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. Trace Cruz and Brandon Reiber knocked off Connor Quigley and Joey Burns 8-0.
Poquoson improved to 7-0 overall on the season.
