Poquoson City School Board to meet April 17
The agenda for the Poquoson City School Board meeting to be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 has been released.
Jordan Duty, a fifth-grader at Poquoson Elementary School will lead the pledge, followed by fifth-grader Gracie Carter giving an inspirational reading, before a student presentation on outdoor bottle top art.
Financial, operations and instructional updates will then be given, followed by approval of prior meeting and public minutes.
Approval of a proposed increase to meal prices for the 2012-13 school year will be discussed along with approval of the Perkins Grant, Special Education Plan and adjustment of the calendar.
Consideration of approval for proclamations for National School Nurse Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, Military Child Month and Child Nutrition Appreciation Week will be discussed.
The meeting takes place at 500 City Hall Ave. in Poquoson.
