Poquoson Parks and Rec to offer Wilton cake decorating classes

Poquoson Parks and Recreation is offering Wilton cake decorating classes from 3-5 p.m. April 21, April 28, May 5 and May 12 at Poquoson Parks and Recreation, 830 Poquoson Ave.,Poquoson.

The four-week program will cover level two of the Wilton Cake Decorating Class: Flowers and More. Participants will learn how to make royal icing, color flo techniques, flowers such as roses, daffodils, violets and rosebuds, and the basket weave pattern.

Classes are available to people 14 years and over. Cost for classes will be $25 per student, including tools and decorating needs. There will be a list of supplies to purchase on your own at the time of registration.
