Poquoson Elementary students create art from recycled material
The Poquoson Elementary School Art Club recently completed an art project made from recycled plastic lids.
For more than one year, the school had been collecting the lids to create upcycled garden art for the grounds.
Members of the art club developed the designs along with sanding, painting and priming all plywood shapes.
Power tools were then used to attach the plastic lids to the plywood cutouts.
Poquoson Elementary School is at 1033 Poquoson Ave. in Poquoson.
