Youth Career Expo looking for sponsors

The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and the Peninsula Council for Workforce Development wants sponsors and mock interviewers for a Youth Career Expo on March 6.

The expo will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, 1610 Coliseum Drive, Hampton.

Last year's event, which  included 21 participating high schools and more than 4,000 students in seven school divisions, earned the Virginia Department of Education Business and Industry Partnership 2011 Creating Excellence Award.    

Costs of buying an exhibit range from $100 to $300. The cost of sponsorship ranges from $500 to $1,500.
