Yorktown-Poquoson girls to participate in the Virginia Distinguished Young Women Scholarship

Four girls from the Yorktown-Poquoson area will represent their hometowns at the Virginia Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program in March in Lynchburg.
The program gives scholarships to senior girls in the categories of fitness, interview, self-expression, talent and scholastics.
Hannah Swenson is the Distinguished Young Woman of York County.
Jennifer Barber is the Distinguished Young Woman of Yorktown.
Michelle Seywald is the Distinguished Young Woman of Tabb.
Amy West is the Distinguished Young Woman of Poquoson.
