Poquoson Public Library kicks off winter reading program
The Poquoson Public Library Winter Reading Club kicked started Sunday, Jan. 15.
Approximately 70 children and their families attended the program. The event featured a reading of the book First Dog as well as a performance by a rescue greyhound.
Marilyn Sanders, a Poquoson Primary School X-tend teacher, presented how to teach a dog tricks.
The program is open to kids up to 12 years old. The program runs until March 4.
