Suspect in Walmart robbery arrested
The York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office announced the recent arrest of Newport News man wanted in connection with the Nov. 15 armed robbery of a local Walmart.
Investigators arrested Newport News resident Frank Jones Jr., 47, of the 200 block of Troy Drive, on Friday, Dec. 9, on armed robbery and other charges, according to a York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office news release.
Jones is accused of robbing the Walmart in the 2600 block of Route 17 in York County.
